McKay, Brian Brian McKay is known as a social realist and abstract expressionist painter and printmaker. He had no formal art training but later taught art.
Robinson, Sally Painter and printer, since 1999 Sally Robinson has been creating portraits and her work has been exhibited in all the major exhibitions including the Archibald Prize, the Portia Geach and The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. Robinson's work is held in a number of major national and state collections including the National Gallery of Australia.

Bock, Thomas A first-class engraver and photographer, Thomas Bock was transported to Van Dieman's Land for assisting in an abortion. He stayed on in Australia after his release and made a career of printmaking, portrait painting and photography.
Campbell, Oswald Rose Leading colonial art teacher and painter.
Cockburn, James Pattison Topographical painter, author and army officer born in New York, USA. Resident of England and Canada he visited NSW en route between the two. Dursing his time in the army he also served at Malta, Copenhagen, the Cape of Good Hope and the East Indies.
Prinsep, Elizabeth Acworth Elizabeth Acworth Prinsep is best known for editing her husband's letters into Journal of a Voyage from Calcutta to Van Diemen's Land, published in 1833. She did a fine job and also contributed some sketches to the volume herself.
Sherrin, Frank Landscape painter who was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Medal in 1954 for his services to art in Queensland.
