painter and printmaker, was born in Warrnambool, Victoria. Later he moved to Sydney and studied at the National Art School, ESTC (1958-59). Worked in NZ 1962, in England 1963-68, etc. Has produced over 200 prints since the 1960s, eg Brain drain 1990, aquatint NGA, and the giant linocut Battlefield of 1986 NGA (ill. Butler), Something old, something new 1983 etching and aquatint on paper (AGNSW) and Tahiti, perle du pacifique 1984 etching (AGNSW).
