painter, did an oil on canvas night painting of men around a camp fire in the moonlit bush (45.8 × 60.6 cm), dated 1853, offered Deutscher-Menzies 1 May 2002, lot 155 (col. Ill. est. $2,000-3,000). It had previously been shown in Joseph Brown Gallery’s Spring Exhibition 1977: Recent Acquisitions 19 October-3 November, cat.7. It is not known if Bradley (possibly Lewis Bradley) was Australian.
