possibly c.1890; A sketchbook by Emily Atkinson is said to be found in the Mitchell Library at the State Library of New South Wales. In 1891 Miss E.G. Atkinson wrote to Henry Parkes seeking publication for her manuscript story, 'Judith, an Australian Blossom; A Tale of Sydney and London’. (see Sydney Morning Herald 25 September 1891).
