British sculptor, had two works in the British Loan Collection shown at the Melbourne Centennial International Exhibition of 1888-89, the marble Young Bull and Herdsman and the bronze St George and the Dragon. Both were lent by the sculptor and were for sale (the latter is now outside State Library of Victoria and other also acquired from the exhibition).
