Painter, did Bend on the Yarra 1887, oil on canvas, sold Christie’s auction part 1, 26 November 1996, lot.54 (ill.); Homecoming 1892, oil on canvas on board, offered by Bridget McDonnell in May-June 2001 (ill cat. no3) and A Midday Rest 1896, oil on canvas, auctioned Sotheby’s Melbourne 30 April 2002, lot 117 (est. $10,000-15,000). Etc. His album containing 1 photograph and 152 sketches of figure, animal studies and farm scenes c.1897-99 was offered at Deutscher-Menzies 1 May 2002, lot 136 (est. $10,000-15,000).
