exhibited at the ninth annual meeting of the NSW Academy of Art: “Hon. Mention: James Barnet – Studies from cast, Fruits – crayons”.

Presumably the Colonial Architect James Barnet’s son, born in 1865. Barnet’s daughters Miss A. ( Amy ), Louisa ( Lilia ?) and Rosa Barnet also exhibited with the Academy.
