cartoonist and painter, is editorial cartoonist on the Newcastle Herald , NSW (2001). He won the 1994 Coffs Harbour City Rotary Cartoon award. Media focus (on Pauline Hanson) and Trick rider (on Wik), published in the Newcastle Herald on 6 May 1997 and 21 April 1997 respectively were both were exhibited in the NMA/ Old Parliament House exhibition Bringing the House Down: 12 Months of Australian Political Humour (Canberra, 1997), cats 52, 84. He also had two cartoons in the 2001 show (and presumably others in between).

Lewis also paints and has held two solo exhibitions. In 1994 the Newcastle Herald published the cartoon anthology, The Best of Lewis .
