Ameneiro is an artist, printmaker and educator. He also works with watercolour and drawing and has been a three-time finalist in the Dobell Prize for Drawing (2003, 2006 & 2012). He was the winner of the Fremantle Print Award in 2007 and the winner of the Swan Hill National Print and Drawing Acquisitive Award in 2022.
