Faludi is a ceramicist resident in Tasmania since 1984 where he studied and taught studio pottery and functional wares . Much of his work is functional although he is known for special commissions.

The artist was Born in Hungary in 1953; went to Verseghy Ferenc Gimnázium, Szolnok, Hungary where he trained as a studio potter under the master potter Janos Dougar. He moved to Tasmania in 1984 and lives and works in Glen Huon, Tasmania (2026).
