Tasmanian Contemporary: TMAG, QVMAG and CAST Pilot

Tasmania’s two state galleries, Tasmania Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery hold significant collections of Australian Art and yet little of these substantial collections are exposed to researchers online. This project is a pilot developed with Prof Marie Sierra from UTAS, designed to pilot data sharing arrangements with these collections via their collaborations with CAST. Contemporary Art Spaces Tasmania (CAST) is the lead contemporary visual artist development body in Tasmania.

In this pilot we will focus on two recent collaborative exhibitions between CAST and TMAG and QVMAG.
